Episode 4 - Drunk Tank Pink

In this episode we're listening to the second album released by shame, a post-punk band from south London. We'll talk about the tension between isolation and crowdedness and how Shame balance these two opposing forces.

Drunk Tank Pink is a remarkable step forward by shame, who paint a taut picture of isolation and introspection in this sophomore release. Written in self-imposed isolation, recorded during the isolation enforced by a global pandemic, this album succeeds at making you feel claustrophobic and exhausted while still challenging you to look deeper.

You can oscillate between sonic overload and sonic isolation by listening to Drunk Tank Pink on all major streaming platforms and at shamebanduk.bandcamp.com.
